A-men is a Catholic Men's Fellowship Group comprised of young adult men (ages 21-39) who meet regularly for fellowship, study, and prayer.
We support, strengthen, and enhance the spiritual growth of the men in our community through prayer, reading Sacred Scripture, and learning the Truth that has come down to us through the Catholic Church.
We respond to Christ's call for action by praying for loved ones and friends in need, by sharing experiences of dealing with life's challenges in the light of faith, by supporting each other in our attempts to deepen our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and by participating in our local parishes and in other Catholic activities.
Our commitment:
Each of us has recognized the need for stronger spiritual values in our lives. We believe that all Catholic men need to take their rightful place in their families, the Church, and communities not just as men, but as Men of Christ.
For this to happen we as Catholic Men must strive to:
- Deepen our faith and relationship with the Blessed Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- Grow closer to God through the Holy Mass, the other Sacraments of Jesus Christ, and daily prayer.
- Further our understanding of the Catholic faith through studying the Catechism of Catholic Church.
- Lead and encourage our wives, children, families, friends, and community to grow in the Catholic faith along with us.
- Gather together in fellowship to learn new ways to live and support each other.
- Respond to the Lord's call to live out our Baptismal calling as Catholic Men and to share the Catholic faith with all we meet.
We believe that the life of faith can and must be strengthened, enriched, and supported by fellowship with other men striving to be the best Catholic Men we can be.
