- Access to Catholic Social Justice Teachings - Access to Catholic Social Justice Teachings is a personal web page dedicated to providing resources about Catholic social justice issues. The site focuses not only on the actual teachings of the Church, but also on orthopraxis (living right), with links and information about practicing what you preach. Though the site is quite disorganized and confusing, there is a large amount of valuable information to be found here.
- Acton Institute - The Acton Institute says of itself, "The Mission of the Acton Institute is to promote a free and virtuous society characterized by individual liberty and sustained by religious principles."
- Agape Bible Study - Agape Bible Study is an online Catholic Bible study. The author is a lecturer and adult catechist that has spent 30 years studying both Scripture and history. "As an historian, [she] brings a unique historical perspective to her Bible studies. She includes historical documents from such varied sources as 1st century Jewish and Roman historians, the historical writings of the Fathers of the Church . . . the Ecumenical Councils, encyclicals of the Catholic Church, and many references to the Catechism of the Catholic Church.”
- American Life League - The mission of American Life League is "to serve God by helping to build a society that respects and protects innocent human life from fertilization to natural death — without compromise, without exception, without apology." The distinguishing mark of American Life League is their absolute commitment to the sacredness of human life. The website helps to further this mission by providing an excellent source for information on all the aspects of the many issues relating to the protection of human life.
- Apostles of Divine Mercy - This excellent site provides information about the Divine Mercy devotion in an organized and concise manner, including Divine Mercy Sunday. Though all of the material is of interest to the general public, there is a particular focus on information for priests.
- Apostleship of Prayer - This is the web site of the USA National Office of the Apostleship of Prayer. It provides monthly and daily reflections to help people pray for the monthly General and Mission Intentions of the Holy Father. It also has information about Apostleship of Prayer materials, Morning Offering prayers, a gallery of Sacred Heart of Jesus art and information about the youth branch of the Apostleship of Prayer—the Eucharistic Youth Movement. Visitors can pray along with the Universal Church using the excellent prayers and reflections found on this site.
- Apostolate for Family Consecration - Catholic Familyland is the website of the Apostolate for Family Consecration, an international association of Christ's faithful that seeks to simultaneously sanctify family and parish life. The Apostolate was founded by Jerry and Gwen Coniker in 1975, on the Feast of the Sacred Heart. It was officially approved by the Church that same year on the 3rd of October, the month of the Holy Rosary. Its self-stated mission is “to provide continuous tri-media evangelization and catechetical programs to parishes and spiritual associations for the consecration of families in the Truth, through the Eucharistic and Marian spirituality of Pope John Paul II.”
- Association of Hebrew Catholics - The Association of Hebrew Catholics (AHC) is "a voluntary association of Catholics which aims at ending the alienation of Catholics of Jewish origin from their heritage as Israelites." The AHC intends to petition the Holy See to approve the establishment of an Israelite Community in the Church, based on the special registration of converts at baptism and of their descendants. The site itself features a wide variety of related resources, including historical, liturgical, and cultural information.
- Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles - The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles is a traditional monastic community of women residing in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph in Missouri. In the sisters' own words their "ideal is to imitate Our Lady's retirement from the world in quiet seclusion, as well as her apostolic charity. Consecrated entirely to her and filled with her spirit, which is none other than the Holy Spirit of God, we aspire to be, to the successors of the Apostles in our times, what she was to them in the beginning: behind-the-scenes encouragement, assistance and support."
- Biblia Clerus - This website was launched by the Vatican Congregation for the Clergy and allows researchers to access Bible verses with exegesis from doctors of the Church or cross reference liturgical texts with commentaries from Church Fathers. The site offers six categories in nine languages. It also gives the option of downloading the site's content.
- CanonLaw.info - CanonLaw.info is the homepage and resource center of Dr. Edward N. Peters, an American lay canon lawyer. A specialist in the Catholic Church's internal legal system, Dr. Peters teaches, writes, speaks, and consults on a wide variety of canonical issues. Currently Dr. Edward Peters holds the Edmund Cardinal Szoka Chair at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. This is a very informative site to visit; it is well laid out and loaded with interesting material.
- Capuchin Franciscans of St. Augustine Providence - The Capuchin Franciscan Friars of the Province of Saint Augustine's web presence offers information about themselves and other resources that contribute to the spiritual life of the laity
- Cardinal Newman Society - The Cardinal Newman Society is an intercollegiate organization of college leaders, educators, students, alumni, and others dedicated to "promoting the educational ideal espoused by John Henry Cardinal Newman and further developed by Pope John Paul II in his Apostolic Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae." The Society sponsors and assists conferences, lectures, debates, and publications on the true nature and value of Catholic higher education. The website serves as a general introduction to the Society and features a number of helpful links and publications.
- CatecheticalResources.com - CatecheticalResources.com is an online community where catechists can come together and exchange thoughts and ideas as well as find support. While the site focuses on the Faith and Life and Image of God series, there is much more available. Also, all of the resources are topic and grade specific, making the site a good resource no matter what program you are using.
- CatechismClass.com - CatechismClass.com is the website of an innovative, online, K-12 Catechism course created by The Goldhead Group, Ltd. in response to the concerns of the U.S. Catholic Bishops, who have found that our high school religious education programs are abysmal at best, dangerous at worst.
- Catholic Answers - Catholic Answers is the largest Catholic apologetics and evangelization organization in North America. This site is among the best and most comprehensive of the Catholic sites on the internet. It features a large library of online answer tracts, personal and insightful newsletters, a number of their popular booklets, and an audio archive of their popular radio programs "Catholic Answers Live" and "The Doctor is In" — well worth frequent and extended visits.
- Catholic Biblical Apologetics - This site offers a course in Catholic Biblical Apologetics taken from a set of lecture notes used since 1985 to teach the basis for key doctrines and dogmas of the Roman Catholic Church. It was developed from the fruits of Dr. Robert Schihl and Paul Flanagan's experiences in defending the Faith. These notes are the result of more than a decade of facilitating dialogue among those who wish to learn more about what the Roman Catholic Church teaches and why. This is a great way to learn more about your Faith or just brush up on your apologetics.
- Catholic Church Extension Society - The Catholic Church Extension Society exists to sustain and extend the Catholic Faith in poor and remote mission areas of the United States where diocesan resources are insufficient. Catholic Extension builds national awareness and raises funds for the Church's needs in these communities so as to enable the essential mission of Catholic evangelization.
- Catholic Educator's Resource Center - The purpose of the Catholic Educator's Resource Center is "to identify existing resources and to develop new resources which effectively communicate the power and beauty of Catholic faith and culture and to make these resources readily available for Catholic educators." The Center has indeed fulfilled its purpose by featuring a wealth of information in the form of a huge database of well-written, informative articles. This is an excellent resource not only for educators but for all Catholics.
- Catholic Exchange - Catholic Exchange is a non-profit charity endeavoring “to evangelize the world via media with the Good News of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Church . . . in response to the need for greater catechesis and revival of the lay faithful in a time when materialism and relativism are marginalizing Biblical principles as the basis on which people make moral choices.” This is a very well designed site that is easy and fun to use. The columnists are some of the Church’s most respected authors. The wide variety of resources makes this site well worth a visit.
- Catholic First - Catholic First is dedicated to providing orthodox Catholic information, prayers, news, and extensive reading material for the word hungry. Though this site's design is a bit busy, it is filled with good resources. Here you can find an excellent source for a large number of the Church's documents, classic writings of the Saints and the Fathers, and prayers.
- Catholic Home & Garden - Catholic Home and Garden was started by a Catholic wife and mother who began by rescuing Catholic artifacts from estate sales and eventually ended with a Catholic business which seeks to preserve our Catholic heritage. The website has many interesting and useful resources which Catholics can use to restore a Catholic milieu to their homes. You can find anything from recommendations for Lent to planning and planting your Catholic garden.
- Catholic Jobs Online - Catholic Jobs Online's goal is to feature free job listings for Catholic schools, hospitals, churches, and other ministries, as well as free job searches and career tools for Catholics seeking employment. The site is still small, but growing rapidly. This is a well designed, easy to use site that is quickly becoming a wonderful resource for both Catholic employers and Catholics seeking employment.
- Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights - The Catholic League is the nation’s largest Catholic civil rights organization. Founded in 1973 by the late Father Virgil C. Blum, S.J., the Catholic League "defends the right of Catholics – lay and clergy alike – to participate in American public life without defamation or discrimination." Of special interest on this site is a large, topically arranged collection of various resources published by the Catholic League, including book reviews, essays, and research papers. Not only does this organization do great work for the Church and its members offline, its site is an excellent resource for Catholics who want to learn more about the issue.
- Catholic Liturgical Library - The Catholic Liturgical Library features historical and current information about the liturgies of the Latin rite of the Catholic Church. Currently this includes the missal of 1970 (Novus Ordo) and the missal of 1962 (Tridentine). This is a great source for all things related to the liturgy. Whether you have a question about what is allowed during the Mass, or you want to read the related Church documents, or you would like to learn how to better participate at Mass, you will find what you need here.
- Catholic Medical Association - The Catholic Medical Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1932 (originally the National Federation of Catholic Physicians' Guilds). It is composed of individual members and local guilds throughout the United States and is affiliated with the FIAMC (International Federation of Catholic Medical Associations). The purpose of the CMA is "to grow in the spirit of Christ in their personal and professional lives, to bring His Spirit to all that is touched by their science and art, and to assist the Vicar of Christ, the Bishops, and the whole Christian community with leadership, especially with the particular knowledge, skill, and experience they have as Christian Physicians."
- Catholic Moms - The Catholic Moms web site is published by a stay-at-home mother of six in order to give all moms a place to reflect and refresh, meet other Catholic mothers and learn more about the Catholic Faith. To this end, it features a number of forums on related topics, a cookbook and recipe exchange, a section of nice Saints E-cards, and a brief news section. This is a very nicely designed site, and a good place for mothers to go for support and fellowship.
- Catholic Parents OnLine - Catholic Parents Online has as its mission "to build a network of faithful, dynamic, and informed parents, students, and alumni, committed to working with Catholic schools and other programs of education to ensure the authentic teaching and protection of the Catholic Faith." They are truly devoted to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, the Pope and the Bishops in union with him. They also recognize parents' role as the primary educators of their children.
- Catholic Q and A.com - CatholicQandA.com was launched to help Catholics get answers on Faith questions. The site focuses on offering proof that the Catholic Church is the one, true, and original Church established by Jesus Christ in 33 A.D. It lists links holding the most compelling evidence found on the web. The references include biblical, historical, philosophical, and scientific articles that support the truth of Catholic Teaching.
- Catholic Relief Services - Catholic Relief Services was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States. Their mission is "to assist the poor and disadvantaged, leveraging the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to alleviate human suffering, promote development of all people and to foster charity and justice throughout the world." Though most of CRS's actual services are provided offline, this beautifully designed site does a wonderful job of informing readers about every aspect of CRS and its work.
- Catholic Response, A - A Catholic Response is a small lay Catholic apostolate group based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Their aim is "to disseminate, with the approval of the Local Ordinary, the truths of the Catholic Faith in common but orthodox language by simple and inexpensive means, relying on the providence of God." They do this through a series of online pamphlets explaining the Faith. The site also has a large section of links to other articles on the Faith and a section listing and explaining some major heresies.
- Catholic Spiritual Direction - Catholic Spiritual Direction is an online resource dedicated to all things related to the spiritual life. It features personal spiritual direction and answers to questions on the Catholic faith and spiritual life through e-mail. It also provides general spiritual direction in the form of the articles and links on the teachings of the Church as well as the writings of the saints. In an age when little attention is devoted to guidance in the spiritual life, this site is helping Catholics to reclaim the tradition of spiritual direction. Furthermore, with the difficulty of finding spiritual directors in one's local vicinity, this online spiritual direction is valuable to many Catholics all over the country.
- Catholic Teaching and the Bible Concerning Conception and Abortion - This site is a road map for a journey through Scripture for those who hold life sacred, particularly those who are interested in protecting unborn children. The site is divided into seven themes, each containing related Catechism quotations and Scripture references, making it a very useful tool.
- Catholic Treasury - Catholic Treasury is a personal website with the primary goal of making the works of saints, doctors of the Church and respected theologians available online. While many of these works are available on other sites, the webmaster has collected them in one place and reformatted the works into shorter pages accessed through an outline, making them more easily read online, even on a slow internet connection. The site also offers a number of other resources on Catholicism and the saints.
- Catholic Way - Catholic Way is the only Catholic website on the Christianity.com network. It is dedicated to true ecumenism and presents the Catholic faith as the fullness of Christianity and the Catholic Church as the home for every Christian. The site features many articles under the following headings: New Evangelization, Culture of Life, The Call to Holiness, Marriage and Family, New Springtime, and Catholic Content. This site provides a great resource for Catholics and non-Catholics alike and is well worth a visit.

- Catholic.net - Catholic.net is the successor site to the Catholic Information Center on the Internet. On this site you can find access to a wide variety of resources including leading Catholic magazines and newspapers, papal encyclicals, Church documents, and helpful devotional services, all in a smartly-designed and easy to use format. Every day new content is added, including Catholic news from around the world, articles, documents, interviews, papers, testimonials, prayers, merchandise, and web sites.
- CatholicCity - CatholiCity is a Catholic start page. It focuses on delivering free Catholic materials to your door and providing daily Catholic content to your screen. The main resources featured are Catholic news and commentary, chat and discussion groups, and a large database of links, each with a short description.
- Catholics Come Home - Catholics Come Home is an independent, non-profit charity started and supported by a number of Catholic families and individuals. They began this ministry to welcome back those who have left the Church, for whatever reasons. The apostolate utilizes the media to inspire, educate and evangelize inactive Catholics and others, and invite them to live a deeper faith in Jesus Christ, in accord with the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Catholics for the Common Good - Catholics for the Common Good is a new Catholic Action organization based on the social teachings of the Catholic Church. - Catholics in the Military - CatholicMil.org is an "online" homeport for all Catholic familes that have a loved one serving in the United States Armed Forces. The site's goal is to help with both the practical and the spiritual, including determining whether the next duty station has an assigned Catholic Chaplain, expressing concerns over the current conflict or conflicts past, offering spiritual prayer support, and more.
- Catholics United for the Faith - Catholics United for the Faith (CUF) is an international lay apostolate, "building on the only sure foundation for happiness and renewal of the family and society: the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church." Founded by H. Lyman Stebbins in 1968 to support, defend, and advance the efforts of the teaching Church, CUF has helped tens of thousands of people discover and strengthen their Catholic faith. This is a well-designed, easy to use site with many good resources. Of special interest is the section of “Faith Facts.” They are an excellent resource for apologetics, liturgical questions, catechetical concerns, etc.
- Chastity..... Abstinence .... and Dating! - The purpose of this website is to teach chastity from the real life examples of young men and women who have chosen chastity over just abstinence. This helpful site features a large section of thoughts on chastity, resources for teaching chastity, and Scripture references. This site is a good resource on an important issue for our families and children.
- Classical Liberal Arts Academy - The Classical Liberal Arts Academy is a new Catholic homeschool program that offers classical Scholastic education. Mr. William Michael, the director, graduated from Rutgers University, where he earned numerous academic awards and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. In 2008, Mr. Michael opened the Classical Liberal Arts Academy. He turned his attention from the city to the country and now operates a 15 acre self-sufficient farm on which the principles of timeless philosophy are lived out in peace and quiet. This freedom has allowed the opportunity to restore, update and publish the classical liberal arts curriculum.
- Clerus.org - Clerus is the Congregation for the Clergy's online presence geared towards serving the world’s priests, deacons and catechists. The site offers a vast electronic library for research, study, formation, liturgy and spirituality.
- Code of Canon Law - This site contains an IntraText version of the entire Code of Canon Law. IntraText CT is a text converted into an interactive hypertext system. It consists of: 1) text, which you access from the index or from the concordances, 2) word lists which are ordered alphabetically, by frequency of occurrence, in inverse order and by length, 3) concordances, and 4) word and occurrence statistics. This is an excellent and easy to use source that makes the Code of Canon Law accessible to all.
- Communion and Liberation - This is the official site of the international, ecclesial movement of Communion and Liberation founded by Msgr. Luigi Giussani. Communion and Liberation's purpose is the education to Christian maturity of its adherents and collaboration in the mission of the Church in all the spheres of contemporary life.
- Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception - The Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception, an international order, was founded by Father Stanislaus Papczynski in 1673. They work to extend the devotion to Mary, to bring relief to the suffering souls in Purgatory, and to conduct apostolic work through assistance to pastors, especially in educating and ministering to those most in need of mercy. The site itself is well-designed and features some good resources. Of special interest is an excellent section on the Divine Mercy.
- Consecrated Virginity in the Catholic Church - The U.S. Association of Consecrated Virgins is a national voluntary service and support organization of women consecrated as virgins (Canon 604) living in the world. The site serves primarily as a vehicle of exchange of information and resources among consecrated virgins, but there are also general resources on the topic of consecrated virginity.
- Couple to Couple League - The Couple to Couple League International, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization founded in 1971 to "provide quality natural family planning services throughout the world in order to strengthen the family, the basic unit of society." The site contains a large variety of information, articles, and documents on NFP, marriage, contraception, and other related topics. This is the premier source for resources on the Sympto-Thermal Method of Natural Family Planning.
- Courage - Courage is an international community of men and women committed to following the magisterial teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Courage's mission is to provide spiritual support for men and women striving to live chaste lives in accordance with the Catholic Church's pastoral teaching on homosexuality. The site not only provides extensive information on the organization and its work and events, but also offers a number of online resources. These include a good section on related Church teachings, several email discussion forums, and a section for youth. This is a good site from a great organization doing excellent work.
- Cross and The Veil, The - The Cross and The Veil is a web resource created to aid Catholics in their efforts at discerning the various currents of thought and practice flowing from what has been termed the "New Age". From yoga to Reiki, many Catholics are embracing "new" ideas that can be misleading and harmful both spiritually and emotionally.
- Crossroads Initiative - The Crossroads Initiative, a ministry of Dr. Marcellino D'Ambrosio, is a Catholic apostolate of renewal and evangelization. Dr. D'Ambrosio is an author for the weekly Our Sunday Visitor column "This Liturgy of Ours", and he has done a series for EWTN on the Early Church Fathers. The site itself features a wide range of resources, including a library of documents, a section on the Eucharist, and a database of articles. The subjects covered are extensive, from the year of the Eucharist to the Theology of the Body, from prayer to how to deal with daily trials, from marriage and sexuality to parenting and Christian family life.
- Culture of Life Foundation and Institute - The Culture of Life Foundation is a social policy research institute dedicated to gathering and disseminating the facts and science related to the culture of life broadly understood. To this end, the Culture of Life Foundation seeks to deepen public understanding of bioethics, the family, marriage, popular culture, and the dignity of the human person.
- Dads.org - Dads.org is the online resource ministy of St. Joseph's Covenant Keepers (SJCK), an informal international network of Christian men, under the patronage of St. Joseph, dedicated to strengthening the family. The primary focus of St. Joseph's Covenant Keepers is men who are fathers of children still living at home. The site itself is well-designed and filled with information and resources for dads. In today's culture of fatherlessness, SJCK is performing a much needed ministry.
- Daily Gospel - The "Daily Gospel" is run by an international team of lay Catholics and volunteers who are eager to spread the Gospel. The site's primary resource is a free, personalized email each morning, containing the text of the Gospel of the day according to the Liturgical calendar. Each day also offers a short commentary on the Gospel. The website is attractively simple, and offers users an easy way to read the Gospels.
- Decent Films Guide - Decent Films is the "online home of the film writing of Steven D. Greydanus, who is film critic for the National Catholic Register and a member of Online Film Critics Society and the Faith & Film Critics Circle." As a speaker on Catholic Answers and EWTN, Greydanus has earned respect among movie critics. The site itself provides reviews on the latest major films in the theater, along with a large archive of past films and DVDs. Greydanus makes it clear that the reviews he gives are not official judgments, but rather a presentation of facts and his own interpretation of the movie which will hopefully enable the reader to make a rational critique of the film himself.
- Defenders of the Catholic Faith - Defenders of the Catholic Faith is a web venture of Steve Ray, a convert from evangelical Protestantism and the author of Crossing the Tiber, Upon This Rock, and other books. The site is dedicated to explaining the Catholic Faith, especially to those of an evangelical persuasion.
- Defending the Bride - This is a small website dedicated to explaining and defending the truths that God has revealed through the Bride of Christ, the Catholic Church. The site includes free printable one page pamphlets and a free PowerPoint presentation on the Hail Mary. There is an especially nice section featuring pictures and text that demonstrate why the location of Caesarea Philippi was so important as the place where Jesus promised to build His Church on Peter.
- Domestic-Church.Com - Domestic-Church.Com is an online Catholic magazine whose goal is "promote a Catholic culture in every family that will lead to the transformation of society and a truly Catholic culture in the world." This site does an excellent job of implementing the Church's teaching on the family, the domestic church, helping families to put into practice the words of the Catechism and the long held traditions of the Church. The site is well organized and easy to use with each section arranged by liturgical seasons, feast day, or topic. They have also expanded into the printed word, with five books published already, and many more planned.
- Dominican Students - Dominican Students is the website of the Studentate of the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph (also known as the Dominican House of Studies). It provides information about the formational life of the Province as well as on the Friars' life of prayer and study. It also features information on the Dominicans in general and is a good resource for young men discerning a vocation.
- Emmanuel Books - Emmanuel Books is a family owned and operated online book store that specializes in the hard to find Catholic educational resources primarily for the Catholic homeschooling family. This site is a one-stop shop for all the resources you need to build your own curriculum. They also carry all the books recommended in Laura Berquist's book Designing Your Own Classical Curriculum. The excellent search engine makes it easy to find what you are looking for; or you can browse the site using their well organized index.
- EWTN Global Catholic Network - EWTN.com is the home page of Mother Angelica's ministry on the Internet. The site contains extensive information about EWTN's television programs and scheduling, but there is also much more. Some of its best features include up to date Catholic news, a great question and answer section, and a library of Church documents. This is a mega-site for Catholics, with a multitude of information all in one place.
- Family Life Center International - The Family life Center International is a lay initiative dedicated to supporting families throughout the world. They use modern technology and the media to provide a wealth of resources geared toward deepening a family's love and knowledge of their faith. They place a special focus on fatherhood and providing resources which aid fathers in fulfilling their vocation.
- Favorite Resources for Catholic Homeschoolers - The aim of this site is to provide objective and thorough information about educational materials from a solid Catholic perspective. Rather than simply judging materials for you, they try to provide enough information to allow you to make those decisions for yourself. This is especially helpful in cases where there is no question of fidelity with regard to the Faith. Users can then judge materials based on other criteria, such as learning styles, maturity level, and other issues that matter to homeschooling parents.
- Fides Service - Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples - Agenzia Fides is a Vatican News website that provides current international news and documents released from the Vatican and the bishops. The Vatican publishes vast amounts of material, and this site helps readers sort through the writings of Popes Benedict XVI and John Paul II, as well as many of the pontifical congregations. The website provides extensive resources for couples, whatever their stage of life. The site addresses a wide range of marital issues from making marriage better to dealing with serious problems like pornography. Even those who aren't married can find resources on how to choose a spouse, how to recognize true love from infatuation, even the benefits and cautions on using matchmaking services on the internet. The site will appeal to both young and old. It is well organized and easy to navigate with an excellent site map.
- Franciscan Cyberspot - Franciscan Cyberspot is actually a portal for all the websites run by the Franciscans in Malta and the Holy Land, and therefore focuses on providing information both of a Franciscan nature and on that specific geographical region. Of special note is the extensive amount of information about Christianity in the Holy Land. There is also an excellent section on St. Francis and St. Clare, which includes their life and writings, as well as a history of the Franciscan movement and information on other Franciscan saints. You could spend hours reading and viewing all the material offered here.

- Heralds of the Gospel - The Heralds of the Gospel is an International Association of Pontifical Right, the first established by the Holy See in the third millennium, on the liturgical feast of the Chair of St. Peter, February 22nd, 2001.
- Holy Spirit Interactive - Holy Spirit Interactive is a Catholic internet apostolate founded by Aneel Aranha, to promote "mutual respect between people, nations, and cultures." The site presents a number of good resources and has a lot of potential to include even more. Of special interest is the youth section, which features many good resources for youth, including an excellent section on the Popes and their words to teens. The kids section also has some great activities that will get children interested in the Bible and the Faith.
- Human Life International - Human Life International is the largest international, pro-life, pro-family, pro-woman organization in the world. They not only fight the evils of abortion, contraception, sex education and family breakdown, but also bring the good news of the Gospel of Life to the whole world. In many countries, HLI is the pro-life movement. This site is an excellent online pro-life resource from one of the greatest pro-life organizations in the world.
- Ignatius Press - This is the website for all Ignatius Press publications. Ignatius Press, since its founding in 1978, has striven to present solid Catholic material in all media forms, whether it means creating new material, such as the Adoremus Hymnal, or bringing back classics into print, such as the Ignatius Bible or the Vision series. The site serves as an introduction to IP and its various publications, and also provides a wonderful online catalog.

- Internet Padre: A Roman Catholic Resource on the World Wide Web - This Roman Catholic resource on the world wide web offers a directory of links to some of the most valuable Catholic resources on the web. Of special note is an excellent Student Resources page under the Theology Link. This section provides links arranged according to the curriculum for secondary schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It has a number of applications, and will be especially useful to homeschooling families. Most importantly, the webmaster of this site is a priest who is very concerned with fidelity to the Magisterium.
- Josemaria Escriva - Saint Josemaria Escriva is one of the great saints of the 20th century and the founder of Opus Dei. This beautiful, well-designed site provides a plethora of information about Saint Josemaria, his writings, his teachings, and his works. You will also find sections on Opus Dei, prayers and devotions, news, and testimonies. This is an excellent resource on a great Saint of our time.
- Knights of Columbus - This is the official Knights of Columbus website, developed and promoted by the Supreme Council. The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 and is now the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church. The site includes some excellent resources of general Catholic interest, but it is oriented primarily towards the specific needs of members and prospective members of the Knights of Columbus.

If you are unable to travel to France to pay an actual visit, this is the next best thing.
- Madonna House - Catherine de Hueck Doherty founded Madonna House with her husband, Eddie Doherty, in 1947. Today the community has about 200 laymen, women, and priests, dedicated to loving and serving Christ. The members of Madonna House make promises of poverty, chastity and obedience. They live a life of voluntary poverty, giving up our personal possessions and incomes. Their programs include retreats and spiritual direction for the laity as well as programs for priests. This website serves as a good introduction to Madonna House and its worthy work.

- Meditations from Carmel - This website provides an opportunity to learn more about Carmelite spirituality through listening to short meditations compiled by the Secular Carmelite Community at the Carmel of St. Joseph in St. Louis, MO. We recommend you take time from a busy schedule to spend a couple of minutes refocusing on spiritual realities with the words of the greatest Carmelite saints. The site is well designed and the meditations range in length between 1.5 to 5 minutes. The audio from these Podcasts can be downloaded onto your computer or MP3 player, and you may store the meditations on an iPod or CD. These reflections will inspire you to take up the practice of prayer in your life!
- Mercedarian Homepage - The Order of the Blessed Virgin of Mary of Mercy, founded in 1218, is an international community of priests and brothers, who live a life of prayer and communal fraternity based on the Rule of Saint Augustine and the Constitutions of the Order. "From this life flows the apostolic work of the Order that seeks to carry on the work of our founder, Saint Peter Nolasco, who in imitation of Jesus the Redeemer, offered even his life for those Christians in need of redemptive love." The website itself is focused on providing information on the Order, and does an excellent job of presenting the history and spirituality of the Mercedarians, as well as current information about their activities.

The site itself contains information about the life of St. Louis Marie, about his writings and his spirituality, and about the three Congregations.

- New Catholic Dictionary Online - The original New Catholic Dictionary began out of a need for English speaking Catholics to have a resource for their faith. The webmaster of this site is working to put the New Catholic Dictionary from 1910 online. The Dictionary has thousands of short articles that give clear and simple explanations of aspects of Catholic life and teachings. Thus, the site contains information on a wide range of topics. In the words of the webmaster, many of the topics contained in the New Catholic Dictionary have "passed into obscurity, but deserve better."

- NextWave Faithful - NextWave Faithful is a new outreach from Family Life Center International. "Through an online community, conferences, publications, and radio shows, they seek to encourage and equip the next generation to answer the call of Christ." The site provides in-depth information on all of these avenues of outreach, as well as many online resources. The articles deal with topics important to youth, and the online community is vibrant. Of special note is a detailed list of positive Christian music alternatives to secular artists which is indexed both by type of music and specific artists. This is an excellent outreach from an excellent Catholic organization.
- Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, The - This site is the home page of the Oblates of St. Francis, Wilmington-Philadelphia Province. It provides resources for those who wish to learn more about the Salesians, an order founded on the teaching of St. Francis de Sales. It features general information on the Oblates, their history, and their ministries. Its main resource is the Spirituality Center, which contains online retreats, articles that are useful for prayer and reflection, and commentary on Sunday Gospel readings. Except for questionable material in the Heart to Heart section, this site offers worthwhile resources.

- Our Lady's Warriors Site - Our Lady's Warriors is an informal group of Catholic laity who defend the true teachings of the Catholic faith by remaining obedient to the Holy See and Magisterium. The main focus of the site is exposing the errors being purported as truth by people and organizations who claim to be Catholic, but promote non-Catholic beliefs as official doctrine to be accepted by all believers. However, it also does a great job of providing access to general Catholic doctrinal and dogmatic resources. This is an excellent and well balanced source for both the true teachings of the Church and the exposing of the errors of dissident Catholics.
- PalmPilot E-Texts for Catholics - This site features a collection of electronic books that may be of interest to Catholics. These e-texts are for users of Palm, Visor and other PalmOS handhelds. There is a large list of texts available, including classic writers such as Pascal, Newman, Chesterton and Belloc, as well as theological and spiritual works by St. Augustine, Thomas a Kempis, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, and Thomas Aquinas. The site also includes of few Church documents and encyclicals. This is a great resource for Palm users.

The webmaster is constantly adding more information and the site has grown into a wonderful resource.
